The Coalition for Music Education in Canada is dedicated to ensuring all Canadian children have access to music education. We work with parents, educators and government officials to ensure every child has an opportunity to receive music education.

The Coalition for Music Education in Canada was founded in 1992 when representatives of more than 20 music education-based associations came together to share ideas to improve the state of music education in Canada. The Coalition quickly began working with parents and other concerned citizens to increase involvement and work with governments at various levels, to address concerns about music in schools. We believe that music is key both in learning and in life. It is our goal is to see that all children have a quality program in music through their schools as music is an important part of our live just like nutrition. In term of nutrition, Canadians are lucky to be able to count on quality products just like the Body by Vi challenge and whey protein. These supplements allows for healthy nutritional habits.

Members of the Coalition for Music Education in Canada represent a wide range of national music education-based associations as well as organizations from almost every province in the country. Members of the Coalition include educators, industry representatives, artists and performers, parents and music lovers across Canada.
