The Coalition for Music Education was honoured to host a panel discussion combining the brilliant minds and stories of acclaimed singer Linda Rondstadt, music advocate and politician Senator Tommy Banks, cardiac doctor and hobbyist musician Heather Ross and conductor and educator Boris Brott. The lively discussion was moderated by veteran broadcaster, writer and speaker on music and culture Eric Friesen. The event was part of the Promise of Music, a one day symposium on music education that was part of the Glenn Gould Prize Celebration of Music in honour of Dr. José Antonio Abreu.
